Foreign Ministers Courtesy Visit to Kenya-AIST Campus

Today, Kenya-AIST hosted a delegation of Foreign Ministers: Dr. Shadric Namalomba (Malawi), Dr. Chris Baryomunsi (Uganda), and Hon. Ateny Ayom (South Sudan), accompanied by Deputy Ministers Hon. Phuti Dingumuzi (Zimbabwe) and Hon. Nicholas N. Johnson (Liberia), alongside Ministerial Representatives DG Odely Ndiho (Burundi), Mr. Abdou-Rachid Idris Nour (Djibouti), Braz. Okemba Roch Blanchard (Congo), Code Youla (Guinea), and Mr. Ahmadou Gotten (Gambia).

Kenya-AIST showcased its state-of-the-art equipment and facilities; and the visit underscored Kenya-AIST’s readiness for the award of charter and recruitment of its first cohort of MSc students by the end of the year. The delegation was led by the PS, State Department of ICT and the Digital Economy, Eng. John Tanui, CBS. Prof Emmanuel Mutisya, Kenya-AIST Council Chairman, the Ag. Principal, Prof. J.W. Khamasi and staff were excited to host such a high-level delegation.
